Today I am going to play a game with the numbers 1-7. You need the lids with the numbers on them, a piece of paper or a plate, and a group of seven things...I am using shells, but you can use whatever you like: cars, chickpeas, pine cones, pegs....Hoy voy a jugar un juego con los números de 1 a 7. Necesitarás los tapones con sus números, un papel o un plato, y un grupo de siete cosas. Yo estoy usando conchas, pero podéis usar lo que queráis, coches, garbanzos, piñas, pinzas.... If the game is too difficult with seven, play with fewer. If it's too easy, play with more. Si el juego es demasiado difícil con siete, jugad con menos. Si es demasiado fácil, jugad con más.

It's time for a story! Percy's friend the hedgehog wants to fly. Will he find a way? El amigo de Percy, el erizo, quiere volar. ¿Encontrará la manera? 

And now, a song. It's the beginning of Spring, and Mouse wants to wake the animals up from their winter hibernation. Es el principio de la primavera, y Ratón quiere despertar a sus amigos de su hibernación invernal.

Now we are going to do some acitivities with one of the worksheets that I am going to send via email called  'PHONICS HEN SUN PIG FROG'. First of all you are going to cut out the bottom row of pictures. Ahora vamos a hacer algunas actividades con una de las fichas que os voy a mandar hoy por correo. Se llama 'PHONICS HEN SUN PIG FROG'. Primero, vais a recortar solamente la fila inferior de palabras...observad:

Now, we read the words and match them to the word and picture. Ahora leemos las palabras y les juntamos con la misma palabra y su dibujo.

Now a bit more difficult...Ahora un poco más difícil....

Last of all, we can play pairs. Por último, podemos jugar a 'memory'.

Good morning everybody!

What's the day today?

Today we aren't going to see a new letter, we are going to read some words. Hoy no vamos a practicar una nueva letra. Vamos a leer algunas palabras.

Now, can you do the same again (join the words with the pictures) on your own with your finger? We start with a word and join it to its picture.  Ahora, ¿Puedes hacer lo mismo (unir la palabras con los dibujos) solitos con el dedo? Empezamos con una palabra y la juntamos con su dibujo. (Este ejercicio a lo mejor les cuesta, puede ser que no tengan la madurez para hacerlo, si es así ayudamos un poco los mayores, o lo dejamos.)

Next, it's time for a story. Peppa and her family go for a walk in the woods to see what they can find. Peppa y su familia se van de paseo en el bosque a ver que encuentran.

Grabaciones de fichas de vocabulario

Hola a todos. En esta entrada os pongo las grabaciones del vocabulario que os he mandado por correo electrónico. Entonces, en las enlaces los niños pueden escuchar y repetir el vocabulario, luego tocan las cosas que les digo, y por último, cuentan que items les gusta más con 'I like...'  Cuando hacen esto ultimo, me gusta que intenten decir dos cosas minimo para practicar 'and'. Por ejemplo, I like the bus and the car, (no solo 'I like the car'.)

Saturday was a special day. It was somebody's birthday. Do you know whose birthday it was? El sábado fue un día especial. Fue el cumpleaños de alguien. ¿Sabéis de quién ha sido?

Now I am going to make some snakes...The first one is from food. Ahora voy a hacer serpientes. El primero está hecho de comida.

 Here is my finished snake...yummy yummy for my tummy!

The next snake is made of paper. It's the same technique that we used for the train tracks. La siguiente es una serpiente hecha de papel. Es la misma técnica que usamos para los raíles del tren.

En este vídeo se me olvida explicar que hay que pegar todos los papeles para hacer una linea larga.
